What we collect

An account needs only an email address and a password, or a Google sign-in. With it we keep the display name and colour you choose, your saved lineups, your game and trivia results, and anything you send through the contact form. That is the complete list.

If you vote on a Bench Boss call, we keep the vote, with your account if you are signed in or with a random ID stored in your browser if you are not.

Our server keeps short technical logs to keep the site running. They are not tied to your account and are not shared with anyone.

Cookies

LinePal sets two cookie-like values: the session token that keeps you signed in, and a random ID that counts one Bench Boss vote per browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

To count visits, LinePal uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you or follow you to other sites. It records the page viewed, the site you came from, your browser type, your country and how fast the page loaded.

If advertising is added later, this page and a consent banner will say so before any ad cookie is set, and you will be able to decline.

How your information is used

Your email is used to sign you in and to reply if you contact us. Saved lineups are private to your account. Nothing is shared, sold, or used for profiling. Ever.

One exception you control: if you set a display name on your account, lineup links you share while signed in carry it as a byline (“Lines by …”). Without a display name, your share links carry no name at all.

Google sign-in

Signing in with Google shares only your email address with LinePal, under Google's own consent screen. We store no other Google account information.

Deleting your data

Delete your account from the Account page at any time. It removes the account and everything saved to it. You can download a copy of your data there first.
